Matt Oljeski is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. He has personally built over 300 homes and has overseen the construction of over 2,200 homes. With over 25 years of experience, Matt has worked his way up from an Estimator all the way up to Operations Manager for a Top 15 Builder in the Charlotte market. Along the way, Matt has also been a Warranty Manager, Purchasing and Estimating Manager, and Construction Manager. Matt also helped start, and was Vice President of, the fastest growing builder the USA (as ranked by Builder Magazine in 2008.) Most recently, he was the Market Manager for a new builder coming into Charlotte Market before partnering with Stan and Chris to start their partnership in 2016.

Matt has worked hard to be where he is today and is proud of his accomplishments; some of which include receiving the Charlotte region’s highest customer satisfaction award for the largest builder in America in 2002, as well as being a licensed Residential Builder since 1999 in NC, and 2010 in SC. Matt is a SC Certified Erosion Control Inspector and is also Mecklenburg County erosion control certified.

Matt’s Commercial and Residential experience includes remodels, office buildings, clubhouses, condos, apartments, townhomes, duplexes and single-family homes. Matt has completed projects in all major areas of Charlotte, including downtown Charlotte. With his depth of experience, there is not much in construction that Matt hasn’t done, and done well.

Chris Oljeski is a graduate of UNC Greensboro, with a degree in Design. His additional studies include attending the CPCC Construction Institute, the NCDOL Charlotte Regional Health and Safety School, as well as The Development Dimensions International Leadership School from 2002 to 2006. In addition, Chris has been a licensed NC Residential Contractor for over 17 years.

Chris has worked for multiple large-scale production home builders in the Charlotte market. He began his construction career as a Warranty Manager and since then has been an Estimator, Lead Estimator, Field Manager, Project Manager and Purchasing and Estimating Manager. Chris has experience with remodels, additions, single-family construction, townhomes and condominiums.

It is Chris’s unique combination of attention to detail as a Designer combined with deep-seated safety ethics and a strong mechanical ability that have been an asset to Cornerstone III Properties. His wide range of experience within the field of home construction gives him an in-depth understanding of the complete building process. In addition, his time spent as a Warranty Manager made him understand the importance of building a quality, well-built home. As a Builder, he consistently received the highest homeowner surveys and had the lowest number of warranties wherever he worked; a fact he is quite proud of. As a Purchasing and Estimating Manager, Chris knows the importance of offering a client the most up-to-date options for their home at cost-effective prices.

Stan Pressley is a graduate of UNC Charlotte. He has almost 40 years of construction experience and his long list of accomplishments include working as head Estimator for Centex Homes for over 23 years, owning his own home building business since 2008, as well as owning a permitting and lot check business whose clients include several of the top 10 builders in Charlotte.

Stan exemplifies the phrase “can do it all,” but more importantly he can do it all and do it well; all within budget and on deadline. In addition, Stan is a licensed Residential and Commercial builder in both North and South Carolina.

Stan believes in building long-lasting partnerships and has extensive contacts within the construction industry. With his experience of running his own business, he understands the importance of meeting closing dates, keeping projects on budget, and producing a quality product. He is proud to have a long list of satisfied homeowners, as well as business clients.
